MINSK, July 2 (Xinhua) -- Conflicting parties in Ukraine will continue to discuss the conclusion of the "bread truce", the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Special Envoy Martin Sajdik said Tuesday.
Negotiators in Ukraine confirmed the need to conclude the "bread truce", Sajdik told journalists following the meeting of the contact group on Ukraine in Minsk.
The official welcomed the process of separating forces and equipment that began on June 26 at the Stanitsa Luganskaya. This step proves that if there is a desire, the agreements reached can be quickly implemented, he added.
Sajdik informed that the economic working group paid special attention to water supply issues on both sides of the contact line. The humanitarian group continued the discussion on the issues of prisoners exchange, he said.
The next meeting of the contact group will take place in Minsk on July 17.
