TUNIS, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Three locomotives on a public train overturned in Sousse, central-east of Tunisia, on Monday, injuring 15 passengers, including two seriously, according to civil defense authorities.
The accident took place this afternoon when three locomotives of a passenger train that left the capital Tunis towards Mahdia's coastal province of Sousse detached from the body of the train, Jaloul Jaballah, the regional director of Civil Protection in Sousse, said in a statement.
The civil defense units and several ambulances rushed to the accident site, where the wounded were transferred to a nearby local hospital in Sousse.
