JAKARTA, July 9 (Xinhua) -- PT China Life Insurance Indonesia, a local unit of China's leading insurer China Life Insurance Co. Ltd., launched the first individual endowment plan in Renminbi (RMB) currency in Indonesia life insurance market on Tuesday.
The so called CLII Privilege Insurance Plan, which is to further support the internationalization process of the RMB currency, will provide customers with more options in asset allocation and to inject a more diversified risk protection options to the market, the company said in a press release.
This product will provide up to 3.5 percent of guaranteed revenue annually and could be accessed in all nine local branches of China's major lender Bank of China (BOC) in Indonesia.
PT China Life Insurance Indonesia will keep on providing Indonesian customers with more innovative and high-quality products to aid them with the ever-changing risks, the company said.
PT China Life Insurance Indonesia officially started its operation in Indonesia on 15 August 2018.
