VIENTIANE, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Lao electronic visa (E-visa), a system that allows foreigners to apply for visas online prior to arriving in the country, was launched on Tuesday in Lao capital Vientiane.
The launch ceremony took place in the presence of Lao Deputy Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, Lao Minister of Foreign Affairs Saleumxay Kommasith, diplomatic corps and representatives of international organizations based in capital Vientiane.
