BEIJING, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Alan Kardec's early goal was not enough for Chongqing Lifan as Beijing Guoan fought back for a 4-1 victory at home in the Chinese Super League here on Wednesday.
Guoan conceded an early goal just two minutes into the match when Adrian Mierzejewski's sliding pass found Kardec who wrongfooted Yu Dabao to score the surprising opener.
However, the home players controlled the tempo later on and found the equalizer on the 39 minutes when substitute Jin Taiyan floated in a left cross for Piao Cheng who swung his header into the net.
Guoan turned over the tide three minutes after the break as Renato Augusto converted a penalty, extended to 3-1 in the 64th minute when Jonathan Viera tapped in an Augusto's pass which was deflected by a visiting defender, before Zhang Xizhe inked his name later on by beating the goalkeeper from Viera's free kick.
With the win, Guoan keep leading the table with 45 points, five ahead of runners-up Guangzhou Evergrande who played one game less.
