HO CHI MINH CITY, July 11 (Xinhua) -- An international three-cushion billiards tournament kicked off on Thursday in Vietnam's southern Binh Duong province, drawing participation of four countries.
Sixty-four players from Japan, South Korea, Spain and Vietnam, including world-renowned figures such as South Korean cueist Cho Myung-woo and Spanish cueist Juan David Zapata are competing at the four-day tournament, Vietnam's General Department of Sports and Physical Training said.
The tournament, held by the department and relevant agencies of Binh Duong, serves as Vietnamese cueists' preparation for the 2019 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games later this year in the Philippines.
