DOHA, July 11 (Xinhua) -- The Qatari armed forces on Thursday met with an Iraqi military delegation over the means to push forward bilateral relations, Qatari Ministry of Defense said.
The meeting between Ghanem bin Shaheen al Ghanim, chief of staff of Qatari Armed Forces, and Jabbar Obeid Kazem, commander of the Iraqi Air Defense Forces, reviewed military ties and ways to enhance them, Directorate of Moral Guidance of the ministry said in a statement on Twitter.
Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi visited Qatar in May and discussed with Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani means to further enhance bilateral ties in fields of economy, trade and energy.
