HONG KONG, July 17 (Xinhua) -- The 30th Hong Kong Book Fair, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, opened Wednesday at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
This year's book fair concentrates on the theme of "Sci-Fi and Mystery," abstracting more than 680 exhibitors from 39 countries and regions, which hits the record in the past years.
As one of the largest book fairs in Asia, the Hong Kong Book Fair attracted quite a number of exhibitors from the mainland as well.
There are totally 15 thematic zones, including the General Books Pavilion, International Cultural Village, Children's paradise and English Avenue.
Meanwhile, more than 310 cultural events, including seminars, cultural performances and storytelling sessions, are being held during the fair period, catering to different ages and interests.
