KUNDUZ, Afghanistan, July 19 (Xinhua) -- Unknown armed militants opened fire at police patrol team in Afghanistan's northern Kunduz province, killing one and injuring another on Friday, police spokesman in the restive province Sayed Sarwar Hussaini said.
According to the spokesman, the armed insurgents opened fire on a police patrol team in provincial capital the Kunduz city, killing one constable on the spot and injuring another.
The spokesman did not identify the attackers. Taliban militants who are active in parts of Kunduz province have not commented on the incident.
