TUNIS, July 19 (Xinhua) -- The African Development Bank (AfDB) has granted Tunisia a loan of 25 million euros (about 28 million U.S. dollars) to finance an agricultural development project in Zaghouan province, in northeastern Tunisia.
According to a statement released Friday by the AfDB, the loan should set the stage for the development of economic and social integration aimed at improving the living conditions of young people and women in Zaghouan province by ensuring the sustainability of the agricultural sector.
The project aims to finance the development of systems for the production of oil, milk and organic production in order to increase productivity and enhance the added value.
