CAIRO, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Egypt's Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) has signed a memo of understanding with China's Fuji Sino Elevators Company for localization of elevator industry in Egypt, State-run Ahram newspaper reported on Friday.
"The protocol includes the training of human resources on using the technology of elevators and smart parking systems in accordance with the international criteria," Abdel Monem al-Terass, head of the AOI said.
He added the Chinese company will train the engineers and technicians from the AOI on manufacturing and collecting the elevators components as well as testing the quality of the products.
"We aim to meeting the needs of local market as well as other Arab, African and European markets with high quality and competitive products," al-Terass pointed out.
Ou Yang Yan, head of the Chinese company, stressed his company's keenness for expanding cooperation with the AOI that owns huge technological, technical and human capacities.
