WASHINGTON, July 29 (Xinhua) -- The price of regular gasoline decreased across the United States, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Monday.
For the week ending on Monday, the average regular gasoline retail price dropped nearly 4 cents from last week to nearly 2.72 U.S. dollars per gallon.
For West Coast area, which includes the states of California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Alaska and Hawaii, gasoline price dropped over 2 cents to about 3.31 dollars per gallon, according to the EIA.
For Rocky Mountain area, which includes the states of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and Idaho, gasoline price decreased about 3 cents to nearly 2.71 dollars per gallon.
For Midwest area, which includes the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee, gasoline price dropped more than 3 cents to 2.66 dollars per gallon.
For the Gulf Coast area, which includes the states of Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and New Mexico, the gasoline price edged down over 4 cent to over 2.42 dollars per gallon.
For the East Coast area, which includes all other states close to the Atlantic Ocean, the price decreased over 4 cent to 2.63 dollars per gallon. Enditem
