KABUL, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were killed and four others injured as a blast rocked the Afghan capital of Kabul on Sunday, Interior Ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said.
According to Rahimi, the blast targeted a mini-bus of local TV channel Khorshid at 5:30 p.m. local time in Taimani area, a neighborhood in PD 15, killing two people including a passerby and driver of the mini-bus, and injuring four others including a passerby and three employees of Khorshid TV channel.
Without pointing finger at any group, the official said that an investigation had been initiated into the incident and more details would be shared with media.
A powerful blast and gun battle in the same area for which the Taliban claimed responsibility had claimed more than 20 lives and injured over 50 others last Sunday.
