KABUL, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were confirmed dead and seven others wounded as a blast hit a vehicle in Afghanistan's capital Kabul on Tuesday, Interior Ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi said.
According to the official, the sticky bomb went off in Khair Khana area of PD 11 targeting a vehicle of Counter-Narcotics Force at 4:10 p.m. local time, killing two people on the spot and injuring seven others.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility.
Without providing more details, Rahimi said that an investigation has been initiated into the case.
At least four blasts have shocked Kabul over the past 10 days, claiming around 30 lives and injured scores of others.
