SYDNEY, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Multiple people were reported to have been stabbed in Sydney's Central Business District on Tuesday, with a video posted on social media showing a man brandishing a knife being detained by passersby.
While the motive of the attack is not yet known, it is understood the man is now in custody.
New South Wales State Police said on Twitter that "operation King & Clarence St, Sydney CBD. Please avoid the area. More to come."
