JALALABAD, Afghanistan, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- A woman was injured in a blast that rocked Khogiani district of Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province on Thursday, provincial government spokesman Attaullah Khogiani said.
The blast targeted a house in Karam Khil village of the relatively troubled district in the morning rush hour, injuring a woman, the official said.
Without providing more details, the official blamed the enemies of peace, a reference to the Taliban militants, for organizing the blast to terrorize the people, but the armed outfit has yet to make comment.
