SARAJEVO, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina's coach Robert Prosinecki announced here on Monday the list of 25 players for the matches against Lichtenstein and Armenia in the UEFA European Championship 2020 qualifiers.
During the press conference at BiH's Football Association, Prosinecki explained that "Liechtenstein and Armenia are not big names when it comes to football, but they are dangerous opponents."
"In the next two games, we can only think about winning, we have no right to make mistakes because we failed to score against Finland and Italy," the Croatian coach said.
BiH now sits fifth in Group J, while Armenia stands third with Liechtenstein at the foot of the table. According to coach Prosinecki, both matches will not be easy, but the BiH's players are thinking about victory.
"Armenia gives signs that they are a good team, we are only thinking about six points," the 50-year-old said, adding that BiH can wrestle with any team.
Prosinecki called up three new players, Adnan Kovacevic, Marko Mihojevic and Irfan Hadzic, for the matches against Lichtenstein and Armenia.
Prosinecki told reporters that he is familiar with their qualities, and he is hoping they will make up for the shortcomings in certain positions of the team.
They will host Liechtenstein at 8:45 p.m. on September 5 at the Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica, a city located some 75 kilometers northwest of capital Sarajevo. The match with Armenia will be played three days later at 3 p.m. in Armenia's capital Yerevan.
