DHAKA, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- A seminar on "China-Bangladesh Investment Facilitation" was held in Bangladesh capital Dhaka on Tuesday night, which aims to discuss trade facilitation issues with experts, government and private sector representatives.
The seminar was conducted by the Bangladesh chapter of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) which is a multinational professional services network with headquarters in London, United Kingdom, and was joined by many Chinese and local companies.
In his keynote speech, PWC Bangladesh Managing Partner Mamun Rashid said they are excited to spark dialogue about how China and Bangladesh can strengthen their relationship through increased cooperation.
Over the last few years, he said Bangladesh has emerged as a significant investment destination in southeast Asia, not only for China but also globally.
"In light of this traction, we have put together a guide to investing in Bangladesh -- called Destination Bangladesh, which we are thrilled to launch tonight among our revered guests," Rashid said.
