RABAT, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- Seven people were killed in floods caused by heavy rains in southern Morocco on Wednesday night.
According to an official statement, the local authorities and residents continued to search for missing persons in the district of Ighern in the province of Taroudant.
The Moroccan Meteorological Directorate predicted heavy rainstorms on Aug. 28 and 29 in a number of provinces in southern Morocco.
