RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Flamengo and Boca Juniors advanced to the last four of the Copa Libertadores on Wednesday by securing draws in their respective quarterfinal second leg matches.
Flamengo, who won their first leg against against Brazilian rivals Internacional 2-0 at home, had their lead cut to one goal when Rodrigo Dourado headed in from an Andres D'Alessandro set piece.
However, Gabriel Barbosa continued his prolific form by latching onto a Bruno Henrique pass and extending Flamengo's overall lead to 3-1.
The 22-year-old Inter Milan loanee has now scored 26 goals in 37 matches for Flamengo since joining the club in January.
Earlier, Boca Juniors were held to a 0-0 home draw in their quarterfinal second leg against LDU Quito. The result followed Boca's 3-0 victory in Ecuador last week.
