HOHHOT, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese dairy giant Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co., Ltd. reported a 13.58-percent year-on-year rise in its revenue in the first half of 2019.
The company's revenue reached 44.97 billion yuan (6.29 billion U.S. dollars) in the first six months, compared with 39.59 billion yuan in the same period last year, according to its interim results report filed to the Shanghai Stock Exchange on Thursday.
Over the period, the company, headquartered in Hohhot, capital of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, saw its net profit increase 9.71 percent year on year to 3.78 billion yuan.
The company said the revenue from its e-commerce business saw a robust growth of 31.94 percent in the January-June period.
It also continued to tap into the dairy markets in countries including Indonesia, New Zealand and Thailand during the period. Enditem
