Ancient building repaired in Jinxi County, E China's Jiangxi

Jinxi County is home to more than 110 ancient villages and 10,000 ancient buildings built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911). Local authorities have in recent years been ramping up efforts on the protection, renovation and tourism development of the ancient villages, such as seeking support from China Foundation for Cultural Heritage Conservation, pooling private funds and repairing ancient buildings, in an effort to infuse ancient villages with vigor and vitality.
