BEIRUT, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- Hezbollah announced on Friday that it has handed the two Israeli drones that attacked Lebanese capital Beirut's southern suburbs last weekend to the army intelligence, Al Manar local TV Channel reported.
"Hezbollah collaborated with the army intelligence since the moment of the attack on Beirut's southern suburbs," it said.
It added that the two drones were not launched from the Lebanese territories but they were probably fired from Israeli vessels.
On Aug. 25, an Israeli drone was brought down over the southern suburbs of Beirut, while a second one exploded in the air, causing severe damage to a media center belonging to Hezbollah.
This was the first clear Israeli attack against Lebanon since 2006.
