ROME, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- Thanks to an own goal in the stoppage time, Juventus, who conceded three goals in 16 minutes, finally beat Napoli 4-3 in Serie A at Allianz Stadium on Saturday.

It was a lively start for the hosts. Fifteen minutes into the game, Danilo Luiz da Silva opened the scoring for Juve, which was his first Serie A goal.

Three minutes later, Blaise Matuidi crossed the ball from the left for Gonzalo Higuain to smash it into the far top corner inside the box.

In the 61st minute, Douglas Costa made a pull-back from the by-line down the left, and Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goal of the season by firing a low cross into the far bottom corner.

Napoli got a free-kick in the 66th minute and Kostas Manolas headed it into the net. Four minutes later, Piotr Zielinski broke away down the left and rolled the ball across for Hirving Lozano to smash it inside the area. In the 81st minute, Zielinski floated the free kick in for Giovanni Di Lorenzo to knock the ball in with his knee.

However, Kalidou Koulibaly accidentally made an own goal while trying to clear Miralem Pjanic's free-kick on 90 minutes. Juve won 4-3.

Carlo Ancelotti said after the match: "It was not a positive test as we played badly for an hour. I would have been disappointed even if it ended 3-3, because the performance remained the same. It wouldn't have changed the fact that our performance was insufficient."
