ANKARA, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday that his country will not close its doors to refugees, the state-run Anadolu Agency reported.
"Turkey is not closing its doors to refugees, but we will be glad if we can establish a safe zone in Syria," said Erdogan at the press conference after a meeting with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis at the presidential complex in Ankara.
Erdogan added that Syria's Idlib is gradually being devastated, like the Syrian war-torn city of Aleppo.
For his part, Babis hailed bilateral trade relations with Turkey, expecting an increase in the trade volume.
Babis arrived in Turkey on Monday for a three-day visit.
