BEIJING, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- A senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official on Friday urged disciplinary inspectors to be focused, resolute and brave in exposing and addressing problems in an upcoming campaign.
Zhao Leji, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the central leading group on disciplinary inspection, addressed a meeting here to prepare for the fourth round of disciplinary inspection by the 19th CPC Central Committee.
The inspection will aim at pushing the central Party and state institutions to enhance their political building and focus on how they implement the Party's principles and policies and decisions made by the CPC Central Committee, Zhao said.
Inspectors should try to expose corruption, violations of Party disciplinary rules, improper conduct of officials and problems in selecting and promoting officials, he said.
They are also told to push the institutions to advance reforms in areas such as administrative approval, management of human resources and public resources, as well as help officials strengthen integrity.
Zhao also stressed strict management and supervision of inspectors, asking them to take the lead in preventing bureaucratism and the practice of formalities for formalities' sake.
