BEIJING, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- A photography exhibition showcasing the beauty of China through outstanding works is now open at the Overseas Chinese History Museum of China in Beijing.
The Fourth Photography Exhibition of World Overseas Chinese, hosted by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, aims to promote cultural exchanges and mutual learning among different civilizations and strengthen mutual understanding between the peoples.
The organizers said they received over 23,000 submissions from around 2,100 overseas Chinese photographers from more than 30 countries and regions, and selected 257 pieces for the exhibition.
The exhibition will run until Sept. 11.
