Zhexia Township of Tibet Autonomous Region held a bullfighting festival, which is an intangible cultural heritage in the region.


XIGAZE, Sept. 11, 2019 (Xinhua) -- Located in the southwest part of Tibet Autonomous Region, Zhexia Township has a tradition of bullfighting. Zhexia bullfighting festival has been listed as an intangible cultural heritage in the region. During the festival held on Sept. 9 this year, herds of yaks wearing traditional decorations were driven to the bullring to fight for the crown.
