"You have done wonders, and we would like to see China move from where it is to even greater heights."
GENEVA, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- Poverty reduction is the most impressive development in the past 70 years of human rights progress since the People's Republic of China was founded, Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said here Tuesday.
He told the Chinese people that "you have done wonders, and we would like to see China move from where it is to even greater heights."

"Pakistan has a lot to learn from China and China is helping promote Pakistan's socio-economic development," said Qureshi.
He said that the "two friends" are promoting connectivity and socio-economic development through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, a major Belt and Road cooperation project.
He made the remarks after touring an exhibition titled "Pursuing Happiness for the People: 70 Years of Human Rights Progress in China" held at the Palais des Nations. Enditem
