OSLO, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- The fire on an oil tanker was put out on Friday, and no casualties were found, media reported.
The oil tanker caught fire in Oygarden municipality in western Norway.
"Flames and smoke have been reported from the engine room, but there is control over the situation," operations manager Bjarte Rebnord of the Western Police District told media at 11:50 a.m. local time.
The fire was reportedly put out at about 1:10 p.m. local time, and no casualties were found, according to fire brigade.
