RIGA, Sept. 20 (Xinhua)-- At least 150,000 Latvians took part in a simultaneous Olympic Day morning exercise on Friday, the Latvian Olympic Committee (LOC) said.
Olympic Day events were organized by the LOC at 768 locations across the country under the slogan "Come and start to exercise!".
Most participants were students but several grown-ups also joined them.
After the exercise, various sports competitions and meetings with famous Latvian athletes were organized. Students were also writing inspirational letters to Latvia's team in the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympic Games.
The LOC had produced two videos to help participants learn the moves of the exercise beforehand. Enditem
