YOGYAKARTA, Indonesia, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- Xu Xin won his third title here on Sunday after beating his teammate Fan Zhendong 11-6, 6-11, 11-2 and 11-8 in the men's singles final at the 2019 Asian Table Tennis Championship.
Earlier in the championship, Xu already won the golds in both mixed doubles and men's team events.
In the women's doubles final, Ding Ning/Zhu Yuling registered a 3-0 (11-9, 11-, 11-5) victory over their compatriots Chen Meng/Wang Manyu.
"This match is quite challenging. Prior to this match I and my partner always try to practice for the best. We encountered a lot of obstacles and difficulties during the proses," Ding Ning told Xinhua on the sidelines of the final match.
China swept the seven gold medals from men's and women's team, men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles events.
The 2019 Asian Table Tennis Championship was held from September 15 to 22 in Among Raga Sports Hall in Yogyakarta, with an entry of 249 paddlers from 34 countries and regions.
