DHAKA, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- China's achievements made over the past seven decades have been hailed by representatives from all walks of life here in the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka.
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC), Bangladesh-China Silk Road Forum organized a seminar on Saturday, which was titled "Learn Our Pattern-the Achievement of the 70 Years of PRC".
Participants shared insights into China's past, present and future, and they hailed the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative and China's support to Bangladesh's infrastructure projects.
Speaking as the chief guest, Bangladeshi Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said Bangladesh and China are time tested friends since long, and China has been giving support to Bangladesh's development.
Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jiming recalled the great achievements China has made in the past 70 years, noting that China stands ready to share its experience with Bangladesh and provide further assistance for the development of the country.
