NEW DELHI, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- India on Monday successfully test-fired BrahMos supersonic cruise missile off the coast of the country's eastern state of Odisha, an official statement said.
BrahMos supersonic cruise missile featuring Indian propulsion system, airframe, power supply and other major indigenous components, was test-fired from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) in Odisha.
According to the statement by the country's Ministry of Defence, the missile was successfully test-fired for its full range of 290 km.
The missile was jointly developed by India and Russia.
