BEIJING, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- A huge portrait of Deng Xiaoping, the chief architect of China's reform and opening-up, was displayed during a mass pageantry celebrating the 70th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China in central Beijing Tuesday.
