OSLO, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- A 27-year-old Norwegian man was caught smuggling nearly 1,500 liters of vodka on Friday, NTB news agency reported.
The young man was caught in the morning by customs patrol close to the border with Sweden, said the report.
The suspect, who was from Elverum in southeastern Norway, had with him 480 three-liter-cartons of vodka in the van he was driving.
According to Norwegian Customs, the customs clearance fee of the seized goods amounted to 557,000 kroner (61,181 U.S. dollars). Enditem
