ACCRA, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Ghana national women's rugby team has arrived in Tunisia to participate in the Rugby Africa Women's Sevens tournament, which takes place in Monastir, Tunisia, a release received here on Friday said.
Debutants Ghana will play in Pool A with Botswana, Kenya, and Senegal.
The tournament, which will be held on October 12-13, also serves as the qualifying series for the 2020 Olympic Games.
Ghana's first challenge will be to achieve at least a second position in Pool A to advance to the quarterfinals.
The Board Chairman of Ghana Rugby, Herbert Mensah said although the team had the will to show their best, it had little chance of ending on top in the tournament.
