WINDHOEK, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- World football governing body FIFA on Tuesday extended the contracts of the normalization committee running football affairs in Namibia to early 2020.
A statement released by FIFA said they want elections for a substantive NFA committee to be completed by February 2020.
The Namibian Football Association normalization committee is chaired by businesswoman Hida Basson-Namudjebo.
FIFA appointed the normalization committee to rid the NFA of poor administration and alleged mismanagement of funds.
