EJIN BANNER, Oct. 17, 2019 (Xinhua) -- Populus euphratica is an ancient poplar tree in the willow family. Covering an area of 440,000 mu, the populus euphratica forest of Ejin Banner in north China's Inner Mongolia attracts a consistent flow of tourists to enjoy the amazing scenery each year.
Autumn is the best season to visit the populus euphratica forest as the whole area becomes a sea of golden leaves. The scenic spot has seen 200,000 visitors per day since the National Day holiday this year, up 6 percent from the same period last year.
