BEIJING, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- The second Hongqiao International Economic Forum themed "Opening-up and Innovation for Win-win Cooperation" will include an opening ceremony and five parallel sessions, according to China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
The forum will be held in the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on Nov. 5 during the second China International Import Expo.
The opening ceremony will be held on the morning of Nov. 5 while the five parallel sessions will be held simultaneously in the afternoon with topics on "Opening-up, Regulation and Business Environment," "Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Development," "WTO Reform and Free Trade Agreements," "E-commerce in the Digital Era" and "China's 70-Year Development and the Building of a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity," respectively.
More than 60 distinguished guests including politicians from numerous countries and regions, representatives of international organizations, global business leaders and Chinese and foreign scholars will participate in the parallel sessions.
The forum is hosted by the MOC and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and organized by the China International Import Expo Bureau and National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
