KUNMING, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- 2019 Kunming Dianchi International Dragon Boat Championship will be held on Dianchi Lake in Kunming, Yunnan province, from November 2 to 3.
The event features three groups: the open group (22-person dragon boat and 12-person dragon boat), the local group (12-person dragon boat) and the enterprise group (12-person dragon boat), according to the organizers.
In the open group, there are four events including 200m straight race, 500m straight race, 2,000m round race, and a 100m on-land race.
Twenty-six dragon boat teams from 18 countries and regions, including Britain, China, France and Malaysia, will compete in the event.
The on-land dragon boat race will be introduced in the event for the first time. Enditem
