ATHENS, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- The Greek-flagged tanker "Elka Aristotelis" was attacked by pirates on Monday in Togo and four crew members out of a total of 24 were abducted, Greece's Shipping ministry announced.
The gunmen attacked the vessel while it was docked at Lome, Togo and the four men abducted include a Greek national, two Filipinos and a Georgian national, according to the ministry's e-mailed press statement.
Greek authorities are in constant contact with the shipping company which manages the tanker, it was added.
