FRANKFURT, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged up on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 31.39 points, or 0.24 percent, to close at 13,179.89 points.
Aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 2.00 percent. Chemical and consumer goods company Henkel and personal-care company Beiersdorf rose by 1.94 percent and 1.85 percent respectively.
Sportswear and equipment maker Adidas lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 5.35 percent. Automotive manufacturer Daimler and global internet technology and financial services provider Wirecard went down by 1.33 percent and 1.18 percent respectively.
Adidas was the most-traded share with a turnover of 423.7 million euros (469.8 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
