KUNMING, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- Police in southwest China's Yunnan Province have nabbed three drug trafficking suspects and seized nearly 4 kg of drugs from two cases, local authorities said Sunday.
On Oct. 28, border police in the city of Lincang caught one suspect and a water heater containing 38 bricks of methamphetamine weighing 2,721 grams.
At around 2 p.m. the same day, police busted the other case at the port. The police seized 1,255 grams of methamphetamine from 29 boxes of soy milk and nabbed two suspects, according to the Kunming Customs.
Further investigation is underway.
Yunnan is a major front in China's battle against drug crime, as it borders the Golden Triangle known for its rampant drug production and trafficking.
