AUCKLAND, New Zealand, Nov. 17 (Xinhua)-- Britain's Prince Charles and Duchess of Cornwall Camilla arrived in New Zealand on Sunday for a week-long royal visit.
The royal couple was met by Governor General Dame Patsy Reddy at the Whenuapai Air Base in Auckland Sunday afternoon.
It is the royal couple's third visit to New Zealand. They will visit Auckland, Northland, Christchurch and Kaikōura.
The royal couple's trip will formally start on Monday when they will attend a wreath-laying ceremony at Mount Roskill War Memorial Park in the morning before a public walkabout at Auckland Viaduct Harbour in the afternoon.
The couple will then visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds on Wednesday.
This visit comes after Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle made a four-day tour late last year.
