China supports Kenya in mega power transmission project

Kenya's ministry of energy and a Chinese firm, the China Aerospace Construction Group, have launched the construction of a major power transmission project outside the capital, Nairobi. The 40 km, 400 Kva Konza-Isinya Transmission Line Project will ensure reliable power supply for Konza Technopolis. The project is expected to be completed in the next five years.
