DIVUNDU, Namibia, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Two female passengers died in a car accident on Monday morning in Bwabwata National Park, northeast Namibia, Xinhua witnessed the accident.
The driver of the 7 seat minibus, with a foreign registration, along with 4 other passengers , all suffered slight to very serious injuries.
They were immediately loaded into an open bakkie of a witness, who rushed them to the nearest Divundu hospital for medical attention.
The witness did this because of fear of more deaths as the area has no cellphone reception, making it difficult to summon the Namibian Police and Ambulance.
Preliminary information obtained at the scene indicates the passengers are Zimbabwean nationals, who were in transit to Zambezi region.
Namibian Police is yet to provide further details.
