How to celebrate New Year? China's Ice City will build 2,020 snowmen in one park to greet visitors.
HARBIN, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- More than 400 cultural and recreational activities will be held in Harbin, capital of China's northernmost Heilongjiang Province, during its upcoming winter tourism season.
The 36th Harbin Ice and Snow Season, scheduled to last until April, 2020, will see various activities involving tourism, culture, sports, fashion and economic cooperation.
The World Snowman Exhibition featuring 2,020 snowman sculptures along the Songhua River will be a highlight of this year's festivities.

Besides catering to tourists, Harbin will also hold sports activities such as skating, skiing, ice hockey, snowfield football and long-distance running on frozen rivers and lakes, city squares and open spaces for local residents. ■
