SHENYANG, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- A fire broke out at around 9:16 p.m. Monday at a 25-floor residential building in the Hunnan district in Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province.
As of 11:30 p.m. Monday, the fire at the exterior wall of the building has mostly been put out, but flames could still be seen through the windows.
The casualties remain unknown, according to local publicity department.
Further investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
