6.4-magnitude quake hits 158km WNW of Hihifo, Tonga

HONG KONG, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 jolted 158 km WNW of Hihifo, Tonga at 13:04:47 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 15.217 degrees south latitude and 175.021 degrees west longitude.
